Melissa Ackerman

I am a part-time SAHM and part-time board certified ob/gyn. I also occasionally teach scrapbooking classes at a local store. My first scrapbook was done in a magnetic photo album with construction paper and stickers at the age of 8. I discovered today's scrapbooking products while cutting through an aisle in a craft store to find some embroidery floss. I knew I had found my creative home. I never did finish that embroidery project and I have not stopped scrapping since. I am fortunate to have been published several times in idea books and magazines from Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Simple Scrapbooks, Paperkuts, Ivy Cottage Creations, Scrapbook Trends and PineCone press. I love working with patterned papers, especially mixing several patterns on one page. I fell in love with Claire's Cottage papers when I first saw them on the website and I am thrilled have been selected as part of the team!
